Good start to the week.

It was a good start to the week as Sparkles and Sky came in easily. They seemed happy to be back and will be pleased to come in and do something.

I took Bambi to Patchetts on Monday and she came 6th which I really enjoyed.

It’s a lovely atmosphere there on a Monday, just quite, peaceful and very professional. I saw a few friends there like Laura who was pleased to hear that Sabers is now in foal. She was telling me about her season on the global championship tour. It sounded very exciting.

We started pulling and clipping a few and the yard is finally getting finished.

John is doing some last minute touches and then I will be prepared for a long and hard season to come. I figured early preparation is the best way to cope, like making sure drains are in good keep and the land is organised with the correct fencing and shelters prepared. Then I can sit back and nearly look forward to the changing of season.

The riding school is very busy and the clients and horses are all doing very well.

My back is unfortunately very painful and I’m seeing Robin again as apparently it’s slipped out of place again which is the reason it’s hurting. Thankfully it doesn’t hurt when I ride.

Finally I am finishing the last touches to the log house proposal and then I shall put it in again but this time for a serious application.

My next show is with Nora on Sunday and I’m trying to find somewhere to take Argento and Bambi too.

I will keep you all informed.
