Lately we have had rain like I’ve never seen, it’s unbelievable the timing to be with Robert. Every night after his work he starts on mine and I seem to have no end of things for him to do.
Yesterday I wanted to harrow the fields and then the roller fell apart. But God is so good as he sent him just in time. Robert finds fixing things very easy so it’s no hassle for him other than it keeps him from doing something else.
We are hosting a church BBQ on Wednesday and I just know its going to be fabulous and I can’t wait. Valerie and mum will organise things and I will spend the next few days making some space for tables and chairs. I need a flat back truck to bring over my garden furniture from home then I’m ready. It’s wasted at home so it may as well be here.
I have a full yard again and a few exciting new liveries. Its amazing what you pray for ! One of my new clients is from Serbia. I don’t know much about Serbia which makes it all the more interesting. His horse has traveled all that way too.
Its a lovely horse, a stallion in fact and Sky doesn’t seem to mind one bit that it’s next door to him. He isn’t a competition rider so I’m not sure what he will end up doing but he seems versatile and open minded about things.
The girl that worked for me a few years ago, Chelsea I’ve been helping her a lot lately on her young mare. She decided to bring her horse here as it was easier.
She’s now informed me that she’s bought another, (I must say it’s very impressive) so now joining us with two, which means I don’t have stables for my own horses.
Anyway I shan’t worry about that, the Pathway doesn’t start until October and Sky’s on holiday. Sparkles and Argento are still out and only Squeak is in.
Actually Corrine asked if I would like to bring Squeak to the Equine Pathway for a lesson this Tuesday. I said yes and I can’t wait.
