On Wednesday we had a BBQ evening for the Church at my stables and I must admit I’d been pretty concerned weather it would happen as lately we have had a lot of rain
Well I asked God to do as he thought fit and can you believe it was outstanding warm sunshine. 25 people came, including the vicar and everybody had a marvelous time.
So we have decided to do one every year, and as well as the stables summer BBQ where I invite all my lovely clients like Anthony, Josh and his lovely sister Naomi, who had recently got me some more clients.
Actually I’ve never been as busy as I am now, which is fantastic as I absolutely love working with horses.
Squeak has been good, although he is still trying it on but he is only four, so I guess he is still trying me out. I have another show with him on Tuesday and I’m looking forward to that. Chelsea shorter has come back to my yard with this awesome little horse by Quick Star, and will accompany me to a few shows.
She’s actually bought another horse which arrives today, so that means I have no room for my own horses.
I took Squeak to the Equine Pathway last week and John said he thinks I’ve bought myself a very nice horse. I was very happy to hear that, as that means I now have four very nice horses, which also means I need a bigger lorry, and because of that I’m going this afternoon to see one. It looks very nice and carries six with good living (very important) and I just can’t wait to view it.
So it’s glorious sun here today and I’ve finished teaching and it looks like Robert and my mother have done a lovely BBQ for me, so I shall enjoy that in the sun and catch you lot later.
