Well the summer has flown past me, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Riding in the warm, wonderful days spent with my wonderful liveries and clients and the shows outdoors and most of all walking my dogs in the summer evenings, a fantastic way to end the day.
Well its now autumn, which I also love and I have a few more shows then the horses will jump inside, so I am now preparing for these last shows and so far so good.
My new cobs have come along really well and I will be advertising them soon, and with the money I guess I will have to upgrade the facilities of the yard, a possible new surface so we don’t freeze again and a bit of a new drive way, lets hope I sell them well.
I’m also looking forward to spending time with Alan, he is a lovely man. H took me to the most amazing Jazz bar last weekend and I had such a great time with him. He is such good company. I am cooking dinner for him on Friday, don’t laugh I’m actually a good cook, although I’m contemplating asking my auntie Diney to do it for me, she is an amazing cook, world class, and has been known to do the odd dish for me to impress someone, lol. Don’t worry I’m going to cook it myself. I think Alan will be happy with whatever the outcome.
Every thing is going very well at the yard and I am as busy as ever which makes me very happy. I’m never more happy than when I have knackered myself out riding loads of horses, and that’s exactly what I did today. I’ve consumed a lovely dinner, all from my organic garden and I’m now finishing off a good bottle of Chablis with a box of Lindt chocolate. I’m very happy, I will keep you informed of the rest of the week.
My lorry is away and that’s why I’m not going anywhere this weekend. Did I tell you I went to Harrods on Monday. Boy it was good, just like the old days, pull up outside and shop till you drop, fantastic, a must!! totally worth working so hard for. Anyway speak soon …
