A lot of rain again today, making me think summer is soon to be over. I have had a lovely summer and I’m hoping not as its still warm outside. Sabbers is ok and back in light work and Romeo has now started jumping again although I’m anxious to find his owner a better horse for next year. Unless you are going to spend a lot of money this is proving to be very difficult. I’m praying God will lead me.

Yesterday I was very lucky to have a photo shoot, it was great, they came to the yard through Fiona, and all the horses had their pics done. Sky was the biggest poser of the lot. I couldn’t believe how he just loved the flash bulbs and the clicking, he kept pushing my face out of the way so he could hog the camera. It was very funny, the pictures looked great and I cant wait to get them. He even jumped a couple of fences for the photo shoot, the men thought he was so cool.

The new cobs are going very well and Demi is schooling Lucy but she is very very ploddy, but I guess in a month she will be ready to go, she just needs some turning skills. Cedrick is just fabulous. I think I will sell him next week as he jumps little fences like a pro and is wonderful on the flat, so he wont take long to sell. Fire Fly is a bit cheeky so I have been working on him. I think he is very green and needs a bit more time, but I’m optimistic they will all go on to good people in the near future.

I went out to dinner last night with my friends down the pub near the stables which was nice but got in late so I’m happy its raining and I’m just lunging today. Lol.
