Finally , the puppies arrived on Friday the 13th, which ive recently found out is quite lucky for me !
On Thursday I took agento and sparkles to the show at bury farm, it was a beautiful day and Chelsie and I were up early getting them ready~Which is no mean feat with two greys ..I could see no one wanted to go in at number 13 , so I decided I’d take my chances , so I did, and agento came 3rd in the newcomers!
So the puppies arriving on the Friday the 13th was quite amazing , but it doesn’t end there, she generally has very large litters where we lose one or two puppies , that of course is really sad but I do let nature take its course .
They started coming late afternoon , un be known to pots I did have a dinner date on Friday night and I was hoping to leave at six, but the puppies just kept coming . At seven o’clock ( and I’d already called and said I waS going to be a tad late) this tenth pup arrived , lovely big pup but it seemed weak and pots seemed a bit tired . Nik and I did what we could to revive it to try to get it feeding , but I must admit it all looked a bit unlikely .
In the end I made the decision to let nature take its course. I went home , and I prayed it would survive and be ok , after all God did promise me ten !
I have to say when I saw all ten plump pups feeding this morning I was extremely happy . God is faithful . You see this was his idea , I was happy to not breed from her again as I thought she was too old, she certainly is a freak of nature as she’s in amazing condition and still acts like a silly puppy around me . But I decided to get her spayed , then “bam” next thing cannons covered her again , from nowhere. Somehow I got this feeling god was giving me a new idea.
So suddenly I knew it was the right thing( and succinctly it was) as the rest is history .
To have the new breeding program will mean if I lose the two liveries I won’t miss the money. And when it’s gods idea he just sends you the business ~ ive already sold three…
So all in all Friday the 13 th was lucky , very lucky for me .
I was very upset that Nora took leaving so bad , she feels ive been hard on her sister, she used the excuse that if nothing else we were friends , I find it quite interesting when the perpetrator ends up the victim (it’s actually quite funny if you are an intellectual ). But friends is a good one , I mean , first of all would you have a friend that is disrespectful to you? Personally I don’t call people who are disrespectful to me friends , I call them the enemy ! But maybe in their world it’s normal to be abused!!
Tomorrow , Claire and I are off to addington , I’m taking sky as it suits him there. Although I am feeling a bit tired myself . I have been hard on him this week -he’s been good for it. I’m determined to improve things , I hope and pray I can ?! I know what to do , it’s just doing it ! But I can at least feel where I’ve gone wrong ~that’s a bonus I suppose .😼…
Nik has just walked in with a pizza , which I’m not crazy about . I’ve eaten out quite a bit this week, which I have to say has been wonderful so Im roughing it with him tonight 😹
