I’m sitting here today watching the rain pouring down my beautiful office window , I’m thinking what a horrible spring we have had , it’s just been cold for as long as I can remember. .
So I have learnt to kick on in uncertainty , so weather is not going to stop me .
After a spectacular first county show at Herts I went on to keysoe and sparkles came second in the discovery and second in the 105 , I was so pleased with him . He is super scopey and careful. A dream to ride and I’m proud I’ve done the work myself .
Sky jumped the 130 there , it had a very decent 140 jump off, two phases often are meaty . I wasn’t really expecting to go clear but hey , he’s as careful as a cat and I’m sure in the results the equine pathway will be happy , he is right on schedule .
This weekend I’m off to bury farm to have another go at the band c , it’s not really an ideal class but it will keep his focus . He is currently living out all the time now, easy for me and he is very quiet , that’s helping me a lot . Plus the outside arenas help me a lot .
Robert and I keep improving the yard , this weekend he will put some slates on the dog pound roof so it will look really smart , I’m still saving up for a walker for the winter. I would absolutely love to have one of these machines but they are 12k. Which is a lot for me to find as well as everything else .anyway this season is all about producing my horses and seeing how far they will go, so it’s an exciting time .
Tonight I’m off to a surprise birthday party of a church friend , I haven’t been out for ages so I’m looking forwed to this …
