Yet another lovely Monday. I managed to get the hammock out today for the first time this year, mind you I had to put it away rather quickly as it poured with rain all afternoon, which was slightly annoying to say the least as I had just left the hairdressers. I had a date this evening in London, with a guy I met through my good friend Facebook. He has asked me a few times to meet up and it still amazes me how casual I am about that sort of thing. I mean I never go looking for men and I would never surf the web for one, but if they find me then pending in house security checks I will quite often go along with it, after all I have nothing to loose. I would only go where I choose and since I feel very comfortable with strangers I see no harm in it.

Anyway this guy happens to be Egyptian, yes I know what your thinking, non starter and you are right, lets face it. Its a different culture so its very unlikely to work. I’ve found 99% of Egyptians to be liars and totally unreliable, although I have to say that excludes my clients as they are an exception. Anyway, I arranged to meet him in a pub I know well. The meeting was fixed for 9pm. He rings me at 9pm to say he is going to be 30 mins late. So already by my standards that’s totally unacceptable. However I’m nearly there and I have friends at the bar so I was relaxed. Anyway he turns up 40 mins late, naturally I had already left. The idiot rang me to beg me to go back, quite funny really. I’m wondering are there really women out there that would go back. I guess there must be otherwise he wouldn’t have risked it. Anyway, I told him to forget about me as I’m done. Its interesting how people behave, firstly I would never be late on a first date and secondly neither should a gentlemen. So for me there is simply nothing to discuss as I would only ever date a gentlemen. More importantly, I am off to Wales to a show this week. I will of course keep you updated.
