Yes it’s another lovely Monday. The sun is out and I am relaxing on my hammock and in between several cap naps my mother and I spruced up the garden and its looking lovely. Its such a lovely time of year at the moment and all of a sudden everything is a pleasure again.
The show was very interesting as I went with a mindset that Sky may retire and Sabbers would take over as my best horse. Well when we arrived, Sky jumped his pants off like a promising 10 year old and Sabbers was awful, all my schooling went down the drain. Gosh, horses can be such levellers. As soon as I think I have it all sown up one comes up with a load of shocks. Its back to the drawing board with the mare and at least Sky’s not retiring. So what else. Well I am trying to swap Noblise for Storm, as I am finding the women with storm very irritating. She always was from the minute she bought him, but I decided to keep a copy of all her emails as I knew she would find fault with him in the end. So I will wait and see if she goes for it. Storm was very nice and I don’t mind him coming back as I’m sure I could find him a better home. Maybe Noblise would be more tolerant.
I love being at Wales as all my friends were there and I took Amelie too, she loved it. We had some lovely evening walks round the most amazing castle, and sometimes its so nice to get away from things and the niggles of life. So tomorrow Vanilla is off to hire out Towerlands and Tracey and Gina are coming on their horses so that will be fun. The dogs are still giving the gipo neighbour grief so I don’t know how that will pan out. It would be nice if I had a good run for a while as the future is looking a bit chaotic. I have to say that I hate horse dealing but its the only option until I am able to secure a sponsor as the general public drive you mad.
Anyway, I will update soon with some real positive news …
