Its been ages I know, but what does that tell you …
There is no new man but yes lots of new horses. I have been so busy preparing the youngsters for shows and the horses I want to sell and the more experienced horses are coming back from their holiday.
Our first outdoor show was Patchetts on Wednesday which was good. Vanilla was fine although a little spooky and Dakar was a dream outdoors so I was pleased with him. Its so difficult to know who to take to Royal Windsor out of the two of them. I certainly cant afford to take both.
Yesterday we went to Weston Lawns which is in Coventry. It was so busy because they took too many entries which resulted in my horses not jumping as it was dark. I was so disappointed I cant tell you.
Sabbers needed the rounds before the Wales show next Friday. I will write to the BSJA and complain, as this is not helping to produce horses at all.
I will have to go to a new show on Wednesday and see what that is like for a warm up for Friday. Again more money wasted on diesel. Anyway the yard is going well and I have some lovely new clients and most importantly there is is a nice ambience in the air which makes the yard run smoothly.
