Well, I thought I would start with today, as its been a rather splendid day, not horsey at all. Actually it never is on a Monday, its officially my day off, so my mum offered me a pamper day, which was exactly what it sounds like, a whole day of delicious pampering. She is a qualified beautician (lucky me) and she decided that I needed a complete day of pure luxury.
It started with a wonderful full body massage, followed by lunch at the garden centre which was quite nice. I had been there once before and it had some interesting bits and pieces. I will be going back there when I get some money in, anyway after that we went back to hers to continue the day of pampering, so I had an Indian ear candle, not sure I would have that again as it was a tad uncomfortable, but the follow up facial was just divine, just what I needed. I am definitely going back, what an excellent day, especially as I had been so ill the day before. Now I am fully recharged and ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow. Tune in to hear how all the horses handled the preparation for the competition this week …
