spoke to Lars yesterday. He is well and is looking forward to seeing me soon maybe next week. I was thinking of going over there. I just got back from Oxford as I was invited to a friends 40th on Saturday and it was the 1920s theme, it was fabulous. I must say I looked every bit the part but sadly being camera shy I got nothing for you as usual. Amway it was great fun. I danced the night away with the most charming fellow to a wild swing band, it really was good.
Sunday was Church and once again I lost my nerve to go up and do a testimony, I’m so gutless. It was a good story as well, next week I will go up I promise.
Monday I asked Alex to join me in a run around Windsor great park, honestly I never enjoyed myself so much, we took the dogs in her mini horse box, they loved it, and we ran for about 1 and a half hours through xc and on tracks, it was fantastic. Then we stopped off at my favourite pub the Horse and Groom at Windsor and had the most wonderful lunch and a few good glasses of my favourite Sauvignon. I was so happy and relaxed, first time in ages, luxury …
Mind you I went to bed last night at 5pm as a result of it and had a two hour massage on the orthopaedic bed. Thank God, I seriously couldn’t walk.
So today no staff, Demi decided after her small injury that coming in to work was to much trouble, I’m mean whatever happened to just come in and do what you can!!! but oh no a full weeks rest is needed. Laugh, she wont be amounting to much in her life. I could just about get out of bed let alone go and work all day. I had seriously seized up everywhere but somehow I managed it and had a fabulous day and the horses jumped super, so I’m on for the show as longs as she turns up for work on Thursday.
What else, oh yes no Peter no Ken and no cry, mind you an old flame rang tonight and is taking me for lunch tomorrow. I will let you know all about it …
