I woke up this morning and couldn’t help but notice how lovely and wet the ground looked. We have such a healthy climate here in the UK at the moment. Its unbelievably hot and sunny in the day and then pouring rain over night, can you imagine how lush and green everything is. The horses look amazing when grazing and the ones that are in are shining away in their stables.
Yesterday was difficult though. I couldn’t get motivated as it was very humid and I was very tired. For the last couple of weeks I haven’t been to bed before 2am and then up at 6am, its just too much. So last night I had a good nights sleep and today I fell just amazing …
I sold Storm yesterday to a lovely lady and I thank God for sending me her. She will pick him up next week, so only Magpie is left to go.
Yesterday was a very amusing day as Gary read my blog. I didn’t mind as it was a risk worth taking. To be honest I thought his reactions said a lot about him, which in turn got me where I needed to be a lot quicker than dating him and finding out.
He called me a “conceited cow” and I don’t really blame him for that because in his eyes I clearly am one. It just shows you that people can either bring out your good side or your bad side. I have past boyfriends who would totally disagree with that because they never saw that side to me. Its obviously a side to ones character that is always there and so best not to date people that bring out that side. It shows that you are not compatible and it will never work. I’m pretty certain that a man that reads my blog and agrees with me is a man that I can get along with because we can understand each other. He also sent me an abusive sms in the middle of the night but luckily for me my phone resides in another room, so it didn’t matter. I’m sure all will settle down when he finds someone else.
Anyway, I can see that love is a big distraction to me and my work, which is why God sends me so many numpties, so its not possible to be distracted for long. I thank him for that.
So on that note I am going to concentrate on getting Dakar and Vanilla ready for the show on Saturday.
