Its dark and damp out there today. The clocks have gone back so its now dark early, although its still very warm like 15 degrees. The horses are in the field still which is good for me as its less work. I also have no stables so I’m hoping to sell Firefly and Cedrick this week. The market is slow and it took 3 weeks to sell Lucy May, but God is faithful and I prayed hard about it and one customer appeared and she now has a beautiful home. This is the rewarding part of my job when you find them fantastic homes.

Dakar has really settled down now and I’m looking forward to stepping him up to foxhunters this weekend. When he jumps well round a foxhunter not only is he worth more money but he is worth me keeping a while longer for myself. Another one picked by God. Its funny as I always felt he was a good horse and now he is proving to be just that.

I will jump Sky and Sabbers at the Addington Premier show and I’m so looking forward to that. I now have a lovely girl to come with me and a new Sunday girl who is really lovely, so all things are going smoothly at the yard. Its a happy time when you are surrounded by very nice liveries, which are also my friends.

Alan rang. I think he thought we were going to get back together, Lol. After he voiced his complaints about me he said he thinks there is so much he likes about me that he is prepared to overlook the flaws. It shows you how stupid some people are. Anyway, I told him its done and I’m not interested. If nothing else I was totally bored of him. I’m learning so much about myself now. For starters I have to have a man with brains. I cannot be turned on anymore by someone who is not really interesting, so I’m getting closer now to what i want. I thought looks were important, they are to a degree but conversation is more important. So I am excited about the propects of looking for someone different.

Today I will have a leisurely day, spa, eat and then take the dogs for a nice walk. Maybe go and find a good book to read. I like that about the early nights, they get me in early which allows me more time to read. I’m looking forward to tomorrow. I will start breaking my colt in, how fast time flies.
