Well its Wimbledon week so you can imagine I am more than excited. I have posted a picture of my favourite player ever, Nvak Djokovic, who I am expecting to win.
Its been an interesting week at the yard. Sabbers being very sore after the show on Sunday and not really jumping her best, but thank God, after a week of praying she was scanned today and her tendons were really perfect, so i will aim to do a day or so at Addington as a warm up for Kent County which she really likes, so praise God we can keep going.
Tomorrow I am going to give Romeo a trip to Pyecombe. As you know I am going through a rebuilding of his confidence after a year off. He is a very careful horse and has to be started by jumping small classes to get him cocky and trying. At he moment he is all of that, so I am really excited about tomorrow.
Its very spooky at Pyecombe so I will aim to jump a clear in the 1.10 and hope for the best in the 1.20, if he goes clear in that, we are well and truly on the way.
Vanilla will accompany Romeo and she will jump newcomers and the fox. She jumped very good today, but I find her a little nervous and tense at new shows which blocks her great jump and makes her jumps a little unpredictable.Ii feel she will be a better 8 year old and just hope I can hang on to her until then.
Bye for now …
