Just a quick update. Nik has been here all week helping me with the extensive gardening. He has done a great job of strimming and the yard looks really nice. I will post a picture tomorrow.
I competed at Arena UK this week. Vanilla was very tense in the ring and had 4 faults but Sabbers was really good in the 1.40. It was a strong track but we have jumped more testing so I expected her to jump clear, but was very annoyed when I had a 1 second time fault, given there were not many clears I was very disappointed as I knew she would not touch one in the jump off. So back to the Jays tomorrow. If she jumps well tomorrow I will take her for the GP at Pyecombe , if not she can have a little rest.
I went to the Olympics yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I went with Anna and Nora, they are such great company and we really had a good time, and what a thrill to sit in London watching the best horse show in the world.
My Egyptian client has bought another horse, one that he promises I will have the best fun on out of the lot of them. Well he knows what I am like so I am really excited about that.
So with another new horse coming I will have to build another stable as we are rather full at present. Rodney is starting full time next week so I am very excited about that. I am going to have a lot of work done at the yard this coming month and also building a showjumping field with a new set of jumps. Things are going very well and I am very happy.
