Sitting at the Yard.
 
I am currently sitting at the yard waiting for Dr Brems. He’s the nice vet. He comes from Germany to treat my Egyptian clients horses.
 
Rocky has been doing well lately and I’m praying the doctor gives the all clear for hi to jump. I’ve looked after him so well and it really hasn’t been easy.
 
Being a big and strong horse means he is very sharp and to manage his rehab has not been at all easy. I’m praying for an end to this so the horse can get on with things.
 
I think it’s now or never to try and see if he will ever jump again and stand up to the hardship of being a show jumper.
 
This is why people should buy sound horses otherwise they never last. I always advice my clients to never buy a horse that isn’t totally sound, and I think poor old Rocky has always had problems. For starters horses don’t canter disunited without good reason.
 
My horses are going very well. They are off for their first show since August last year and I’m really excited about it. I decided to go to Bury Farm as it’s reasonably local and has a big selection of classes for them.
 
Sky’s been very difficult this week. He’s not accepting the leg and has really been working hard. I think we are about to turn a corner as he is starting to get better. But boy has he been testing. He really is a wilful and difficult horse but he is going to be a champion. I expected that he was never going to be easy.
 
Dazzle and Sparkles on the other hand are very straight forward which is just as well as I wouldn’t have the energy for three.
 
My back disc is playing up again and I have been in severe pain of late. I had some prayer for it at church tonight. You may not believe this but I actually feel a lot better. I have such faith in God as a healer and it won’t be the first time he has healed me of something.
 
I had some more problems with the dogs barking in the night. It is annoying so I don’t blame the neighbour for moaning. I’ve swapped them around. I think it was because Spinner was getting to hot in the tack room. He now lives outside which hopefully will remedy the situation.
