Great to be out again.
Well it was great to be out again, and God did bless us with a lovely sunny day.
We had a bit of a scare on the motorway when a lorry stopped sharp in front of me causing me to swerve and hit some plastic bollards. Fortunately there was no damage. It was either that or someone hitting me up the rear.
Other than that we had a good day. Dazzle jumped super in her two classes and Sky and Vanilla both jumped lovely clears in theirs. Sky was very silly in the warm up and had to be lunged for a while before I could jump him. Thank God someone lent me a lunge line as I forgot our one.
Anyway, he settled and jumped great. Tomorrow I’m going to aim him at the Winter Novice at Keysoe. It’s a good class. He probably isn’t ready for it but I’m darn mined to get him to as many shows as possible this year. I need to see how good he is going to be.
The rain is back and it’s awful here and we have had very little pause in between these terrible days. It makes it hard to get things done.
I’m glad that the lorry is up and running as we can use the shows as a way of exercising in doors.
Sparkle starts boot camp today. That means I’m taking over with things for about two weeks. Then he will get a little break again. I do love him so much. He is so gentle and kind for a colt.
I have decided to sell Dazzle as she is going nicely, but I just cannot finance them all and being she is the easiest I will let her go first. So if you guys know anyone that wants a very nice homebred to produce then just message me.
I will be I touch soon with the news of how it goes tomorrow with Sky and Bambi.
