Although the weather has been pretty cold lately today was lovely and hot , that immediately inspired me to jump my horses, I set up a lovely nelson pessoa course and I have to say I enjoyed sparkles the best, he was brilliant , one of my good showjumping pals came and watched me and said he is every bit luidam. That really pleases me as he rides very much like his grandad sky and with luidams jump he should be amazing , I have been a bit nervous of him turning out like his mother vanilla , she wasn’t my type cold blooded horse dull mouth not really the type you would breed from but it does show you sometimes they are not like their mothers at all and little sky isn’t anything like his mother , he is every bit big sky and always has been. Sparkles has a good mouth and a good soft back , so it’s a bit of a saving grace as he is a big horse. I really think he will have the most scope and go on to be my next top horse. Sky on the other hand has recently been so quiet, one,  he’s going out in the field each day which has helped but, I’ve been riding this Peter Charles method I learnt a long while ago and it’s seriously making me use my legs , which is of course the answer.
So I’m off to patchetts on Wednesday with sparkles , Grace will come too. She is  fab at a show, Eddy is just adorable and Grace looks so good on a horse I’m always proud to say I teach her.
Then we are both straight off to arena uk with sky and Eddy then I’m back and straight off to the equine pathway . So from now on I am seriously busy.
The yard is feeling so back to normal now the awful sisters have gone , they also didn’t pay their bill, I was quite surprised at this as if nothing else they did get there horses so well looked after, but strangely it’s the first time I’ve been knocked in thirty years of business and also the first time I’m actually not bothered about the money. There is a lot to be said about peace of mind…
Robert has been very nice, he’s helped me out so much with my lorry , tonight a pipe burst , which is amazing considering it just passed its mot , thank god he was there , he is a good mechanic , thankfully and is confident he can mend it , I’m seriously appreciating how God is looking after me .
Talking of which I have just got back from church, I gave a testimony tonight , usually I’m pooing my paints but I couldn’t wait tonight . I shared with the congregation my friends Ingrids story. It went down well, I’m looking forwed to the day I can share my american friend s son Josh’s .
Anyway I’m about to watch a good movie , I will keep you all updated about the shows and other things and amelies beautiful anointed pups …
