Had a great day today.
I woke up early and took Nik to the station and drove to the stables. Its horrible rain but I wasn’t worried as its my day off and I was off to the hairdressers.
Goncarlo called me early and suggested coming over to see Dazzle. I was keen but a tiny bit nervous.
I could see she was a bit better but didn’t want to assume anything.
He got there for one on the button unlike Chris who was never on time. I say that with a smile as you all know how very fond I was of Chris.
He asked me to walk her round, I was a bit annoyed as I’d just had my hair done and it was pouring rain, actually I really like this new vet. I found him interesting and clever. I sometimes wish I could have dated a vet, or a lawyer. Well I spend most of my time with one or the other.
Anyway he was pretty shocked at her soundness. He said she was one tenth as lame which was a miracle, especially after just two days. I am so happy, God is so faithful to me. I really wanted things to work out for this mare and God took mercy on her. What a wonderful father I have and a wonderful new vet.
