Another Frightful Week

Another frightful week that ended well. Firstly no news on my lorry so rushed off to buy another one, after exhausting phone calls to get it checked and dropped off it arrives and doesn’t start. Two separate breakdown men try to fix it but to no avail.

So I stop the transfer feeling more relaxed and tell the man to come and get it. He then informs me the lorry has an immobilizer attached to a key that must be with it at all times.

I noticed this strange little key and had asked what it was and the guy told me he didn’t know, fortunately I thought I won’t throw it away in case it’s needed (thank you God) but nonetheless I removed it from the key.

Once resolved I took her for a good drive and she drove beautifully. I am so relieved. I shall now carry on my show and lesson schedule this week, which is a lesson on Sky then two shows on Sky and Bambi.

Also I noticed the farrier had made a mistake with one of my young horses feet, this has really upset me. The feet are so important. So I shall look once again for a top farrier. I’m annoyed to think a Rossdales farrier could be so bad.

And this afternoon after teaching a client I was standing in the gateway when a huge gust of wind blew the gate shut in my face. I now have two huge black eyes and a swollen nose. Feeling  really ugly. My mother is so wonderful and she stayed with me all the time and ice packed my face. I have no idea what I would do without her. Also Steve was absolutely great, sharing parts of the bible with me and keeping my spirits high through this really rough time I’m having.

I’m going to stay positive and pray God keeps me safe and steers me safely through this coming week. And I hope I can bring to you some happy events and put this all behind me.
