This week has been full of blessings. After the foal dying a girl rang me looking to loan a horse for a few months. I had only been thinking lately how wasted Temptation is out in the field. She is old but she is fit and well and I don’t want her to suffer another UK winter without being ridden. So it was a bit of an answer to prayer as the girl seems very nice. I will keep her with me and look after her each day

Atlanta has recovered from her loss and is awaiting mating again, so I am excited about that. I’m also so grateful to God that she has not suffered in any shape or form. I do believe that its natures way of controlling birth control so after the initial shock I’m happier. I pray I get a chestnut filly that’s a champion next time, and I’m feeling very lucky.

Tomorrow is Royal Windsor, my favourite show of all time. I am supposed to jump the 1.40 tomorrow. Although Sabbers is on great form I’m just not feeling confident enough in myself, if I had done a few more shows and a few 1.40’s I know I would be ok. Most people there would have been jumping abroad and outdoors for the last few months, so you see I was a bit previous. Anyway I will go and watch and be disappointed again. However I can jump the 1.35 speed on Sunday, so maybe I will do that. A speed class is less likely to be as technical. I will of course keep you updated regardless.

I’m looking at the colt Sky High the 3rd, my God he is a beauty. I am going to take a picture in case you dont believe me …
