Well its been an eventful day today. Firstly I had customers come back for a second look, and it was a disaster. Both cobs ran off with both kids, my heart was in my mouth, basically neither kid could ride or had any experience,. How the riding instructor thought they could manage two green horses I don’t know. Thankfully all was okay and they left unharmed.

Atlanta was in season this morning so I called Chris (my vet) and he came along this evening and helped me cover her with the stallion Sky. We have got it off to a fine art now and Atlanta and Sky are a marriage made in heaven. So by the 4th of May next year im praying for a chestnut filly …

All my clients came in and rode and I had a few late liveries early evening so i stayed for a late drink and a chat with them, it was most enjoyable.

Interestingly I always pray to God to find me the right customers for my horses, and he never misses. Tonight I had a missed call from the people who bought bobby. I immediately thought the worst and was expecting it to have gone wrong and now they want their money back, you know the rest. Anyway I’ve been too busy today to deal with it, but this evening I get a text from the people saying they have found him to be difficult on the roads, which is very odd and do I know anyone who would buy him off them. I said I may know someone and gave them a number. She was very nice and friendly and didn’t seem to be angry about him. So I thought even though the horse doesn’t suit them they were the right people as they are happy to find him a home of their own.

Thank you God for being so faithful …
