Good morning.

I’m tired today as I had a lot of late nights this week. I don’t mind because I have a lot of energy and its a good way of getting a really good nights sleep.

Last night I met my friends for dinner and we had a great meal in a very good pub I frequent a lot. They have a very good which means they serve good wine as well, so needless to say I don’t have a hangover, which is just as well as I was considering going to Patchetts show today with Sabbers, but I’m not convinced. I need to mentally be ready to go to a show and I cant say the mental prep is there, but maybe I will change my mind later. Amazingly last night I found a long lost pal on Facebook, a bit of a blast from the past. I used to knock about with him in my twenties and boy did we have some fun, he remembers me like yesterday, which is really nice and I cant wait to see him again. I haven’t really changed much and I think I’m very much the same person as I have always been, but he hasn’t seen me with my dark hair. I was blonde for many years so I can imagine its going to be a shock.

So Amy Winehouse died yesterday. My Texas pal was the first to tell me. Its funny in that when someone famous dies you never forget where you were and who tells you the news at that time. Anyhow I liked her as she was very original, but I have to say I admire the people who make it like the stones, Eric Clapton and Blondie. We all have choices in life and I’m sure you only go down the road of self disruption if its what you want. Well what I’m saying is I don’t feel sorry for people who kill themselves. I feel sorry for handicapped people as they are the real survivors, they really know about having to fight, but I suppose I shouldn’t judge. I have always said you cant judge a person until you walk in there shoes, thank God at present mine are actually quite comfortable.
