Its not such a good day today. I turned up for Equifest and due to the amount of rain they had they changed the arena, to a small hard undulating surface. I drove in brought a sandwich and drove straight out again. A waste of time diesel, staff wages and I am bloody knackered, but at least my horses legs are still in tact. I have worked to hard to go and blow it all on a dodgy surface, but what makes me die is the people that still carry on jumping on bad ground, my horses can wait for another day.

So I arrived home to a beautiful evening. I gave Pegasus a jump and cant say that he excited me but a horse I jumped at the area trials didn’t excite me but when I got it home, so I’m not going to say anything at this stage. After that I walked the dogs. Cannon is fitting in so well and keeping up with me on the walk. He is just so cute.

I came home to a beautiful garden, well part of it, as my new gardener (Berni) ran out of time, but he seems like he knows what he is doing. What with Rodney and Berni I think God has sent me some very tidy Angels at last. It makes you realise how much I have been putting up with. I have always been a person who takes my time and is very thorough and I cant stand people who rush through things and do a half hearted job.

Rodney is very thorough and I really respect him for this and best of all he is honest. Typically lazy people are always liars, you should know that, and behind every liar is a thief. So it starts with laziness and ends up with a thief. So when I see a thorough hard worker I can tell they will be honest and loyal to me. So I am very pleased about those two men in my life.
My client will come tomorrow to ride his horse for the first time. I do hope he has made the right choice this time as so far he hasn’t done so well, partly because he wont spend a lot of money and also I think people are making wages out of him, but the horse is sweet so I am staying optimistic.

My entries are in for Hickstead and I am really looking forward to that. Sabbers is on fire after her little break.

i opened my back door for the first time and was writing here when i heard some very heavy paws go past. OMG, Vargy has bought a dead bird in the house. Those that know me know this is just horrendous for me, as I hate birds. Thank God its smaller than a sparrow.
