Today was a day full of rain. It was grim but I managed to find a few hours not to bad so I got my current two Wesley and Bambi done.
Bambi jumped good and I just flatted Wesley. Tomorrow I will go to Patchetts and jump a few smaller classes.
I had a customer call who bought a puppy off me saying it has been very ill and was put down. This made me very sad. Firstly they tried to blame me saying I sold her an ill dog. When I sent her an email confirming that after a week of owning the pup she was super pleased with it she shut up.
However it got me thinking and I suddenly remembered which puppy it was. This puppy was always ahead of the pack, super alert and heard noises before the others. Nora and I called her Miribel.
This of course has made me very sad indeed as I loved that little dog and thought I was careful enough to give her a good home. Unfortunately the girl lied to me on the phone and said she knew how to look after dogs which she obviously didn’t. It turned out that she caught a fever, she had no inoculations and they neglected to worm her.
I spoke to God and asked him why did this happen. I’ve been so careful with them, and that dog had bonded with me. I felt it was a special one in the litter, having felt terribly sad all day and questioned why God didn’t warn me and stop me selling it to her. I could have easily kept that puppy I wouldn’t have minded.
Then it occurred to me that maybe God had another plan. Maybe he took that little feisty puppy for himself and knowing that God is her new master I suddenly felt a lot better .
