I’ve had a brilliant week.

Church was fabulous. It was short and sweet and the readings were good so I stayed awake. Then on Monday I had my normal day off, as the last three weeks I’ve been all over the place working because of the Christmas, which I have to say I really enjoyed.

Mum and I went for a lovely lunch and she was on good form.

On Tuesday I decided to break in Sparkle. He’d already been back so I wasn’t expecting a fight, and since he is now going so well on the lunge I figured he’d been OK if I chucked Chelsea on.

Chelsea is so lovely and is dying to have her own little project so I will give her him for a while.

Rocky is sound and is going well and I am praying I can start jumping him soon. I know his owner is as keen as me.

The rest of my horses are on top form. Sky is just an out and out superstar, which I said all along. He just comes off the floor in a way I’ve never see before.

Dazzle on the other hand is teething so is slightly irritable. I’ve corrected her over balancing a little so her jump has improved. She seems scopey but I’m not sure at this stage how careful she’s going to be as her teeth and balance have been awful.

My lorry comes back next week and I’m off to take Sky for a lesson at Pennies. I need some touching up and I’m sure he does, then we’re of to a show. I’m looking forward to this.

Bambi still isn’t sold and I’m in two minds whether to have the horse myself, so for my next show I’m going to give her a bit do a test and see what she’s made of. I will endeavour to let you all know.

Romeo is sound again, after a fortune of vet bills, which I’m seriously  fed up with for what use I get out of him, so I hope this is going to be the last for a long time.

I’ve also decided to change vets as I found a nice man more local as I was annoyed that my vet couldn’t fit me in one day and also charged me ten pound for some already opened duck tape. Something Chris Harris would never have done as I’m such a good Client also.

He would have found room in a day for me and not made me wait. So I hope this new man is good enough. Having said that I was very impressed with the farrier. Rocky lost a shoe which is a disaster because of his current foot problem and I asked Russell to come ASAP. He was actually in Thailand but had the decency to send someone else in at nine o’clock the very next day. I was very impressed with that. Now there’s a man who values the business and for that I will send him a lot more.

I’m having a leisurely night tonight. A hot bath, a facial and some very healthy food and drink. I’ve been reading up on the best healthiest food and drink for my new and permanent detox and I’m enjoying it. I’m in a very happy place right now.
