I’m so excited at the news yesterday.
Sablet scanned in foal to my amazing stallion Sky High. Sadly Atlanta has come back into season , but we covered her and will do it again on Monday.
My prayers are that she conceives and gets me a lovely chestnut filly. And Sabbers a chestnut colt again. Or I would settle for a deep mahogany bay with sky’s lovely stockings.
Skyline was super at the show (the hand) I caused him to have a fence down in each round but overall he was good and jumped clean.
On Wednesday we are off to Royal Norfolk with him. I’ve never been there before but I’ve heard it’s very nice. So really looking forward to that as it’s on grass which is his favourite surface.
I’ve sold Dazzle to some nice people but my concerns are she may be a lot of horse for a young girl so I’ve suggested trying her again in the field where she’s a bit more challenging. Fingers crossed as I could really do with the money.
I’ve not heard anything from Rocky’s owner and we are all wondering how he is and if he is coming back. I do hope he does as we will all miss the owner who is such a great guy and I’ve had such a long relationship with him. I would be so upset if it comes to an end.
Bambi has not been sold yet but is on good form and I’ve taken Agento to a few shows. He’s been very good but just a difficult ride for an amateur girl to deal with. Hopefully I will help her for a while as I do really like the horse.
The weather is beautiful today and I’ve watered all the flowers for Mum so she will be happy. I’ve done Steve’s garden too as he is also away. Everything is growing well although I’ve no idea what we have vegetable wise.
Sparkles has one more week left of his break then I shall start with him. Next week is dedicated to my aunts cob Fire Fly. He is adorable and I’ve enjoyed schooling him for her.
