Arena UK – Day two
This morning I was woken up with a call from my father, it‘s 7am and I’m wondering what he could be phoning for, it’s not unusual for him to phone at seven but recently he hasn’t called me at all, so I decided to miss the call and let it go on to voicemail. I listened to the message and he sounded worried, he was wondering if he was taken me to the church.
Omg!!! yes – it’s April the 11th and I’m supposed to be marrying Robert. I’m surprised no member of my family had informed him that we have put the wedding on hold for a while, but then again I should have told him myself.
I really wasn’t sure he’d ever go through with giving me away, but there you are, true to his word, he was going to. That made me very happy. I called him immediately and put him in the picture. I arranged to meet him on Monday at his site, he has a very nice building plot in Islington, actually in Pentonville road, hence Pentonville Lodge !
So I’m looking forward to catching up with him and him meeting Robert. I’m sure he will like him as Robert is easy to like.
Meanwhile back at the show, it’s started raining, I’m instantly put off, it’s also cold. I think it’s hard to live in a lorry, even though mine is very nice and warm and thanks to Robert, everything on it works very well, it’s still hard to stay motivated and want to come out of it. I noticed sparkle was particularly grumpy this morning as well, adding to the fact that neither of us want to be here.
Grace is going to try the Newcomers today, I must admit after walking it myself it does look strong, but her horse is on form and she’s very positive, that’s a perfect way to go and try the next level, so I’m not going to stop her-he could run out of scope at the combination or he just might pick his way round it.
As for Sparkles, his class is this afternoon, I’m going straight in the Discovery and possibly the class after (weather permitting). I shall get straight on him today with out lunging him, unless it’s pouring, then I may as well lunge him indoors for a while. Anyway, Grace’s class is about to start, so I shall go and watch it with her.
